What is in the BMAT exam?

BMAT is an entrance exam required by some medical universities and it is split into 3 sections. The first section will be similar to UKCAT since it will test your aptitude and skills. The second section will be very academic as it will test your knowledge of mathematics, chemistry, biology and physics. Be prepared to learn things beyond the scope of what your exam board expected you to know for gcse/a level. The BMAT has its own specification so it would be very helpful to refer to the specification as a checklist to ensure you cover all the content for your exam. The third section will test your ability to write. You will be given a choice of questions of varying topics to write an essay on one side of an A4 sheet of lined paper.
