How can i learn theoretical perspectives for sociology?

A key part of sociology is learning theoretical perspectives; the more perspectives one uses the more marks they gain. All students are taught the same type of perspectives, i.e. Marxism, Feminism, Functionalists and so on. Yet each institution is taught different theorists. The theories put forward are usually complex and lengthy, so i would highly suggest that you read through the theories given to you by your teachers, and translate them into your own words. This will allow you to understand and memorise the studies more easily. Another way to learn numerous of perspectives is by finding an effective revision technique for yourself, as each student learns differently. A few examples of techniques that have worked for me are spider diagrams, flashcards, and posters. Once you have made your revision notes you can get other individuals to test you. This will make revising fun, yet effective, as you can learn theoretical perspectives more easily.
