Benefits - Living standards increase (more jobs, higher income, better life)

                - but not always, sometimes growth occurs in the minority so only some benefit. Sometimes growth deteriorates health (smoking, pollution)

Drawback - Demand side economic growth = inflation. Potential depletion of natural resources
