What do I conjugate regular ER verbs?

To conjugate a regular ER verb such as 'donner' (to give), you must take off the ER ending and you will be left with a stem. Then add the appropraite ending to the stem, depending on who is performing the action.

The regular ER verb endings are:

(I) Je - e

(You) Tu - es

(He/She/It) il/elle/on - e

(we) nous - ons

(you -plural) vous - ez

(they) ils/elles - ent

Example

I give

Verb: donner

  • ER ending: donn

1st person present tense - je donne = I give
