What should I do if reach a standstill in my project

This is nothing to worry about and it happens to the best of us. Whenever I got stuck on where to go next on my projects I found it best to look at the work of artists with a similar style. By analysing their work you can often be inspired and use the what youve learnt from their work to aid in your own. It can also be a great idea to visit local gallerys so you can see the real work up close and personal so you can really connect with it.
