Each codon codes for 1 amino acid (1 point) and each gene codes for a polypeptide (1 point). 4. Process of polypeptide production? Each codon is transcribed into mRNA by base-pair matching/complementary base. (1 point) The Mrna is then transcribed into a sequence of amino acids. (1 point)
