How justifiable was the Treaty of Versailles at the time?

First, one would outline some of the terms of the Treaty, showing an understanding of what it entailed
It's important to know who the main actors were at the time, so one would look at:(1) Clemenceau ("the tiger")(2) Wilson ("rose tinted spectacles)(3) Lloyd George
One would then explore what they wanted and how far this was achieved in the context of how the electorate at home wanted Germany to suffer
One would acknowledge how with hindsight, this was flawed because it led to WW2, but how at the time it was seen as a just peace!
