Who is considered to be the more effective King of the gods, Zeus (Iliad) or Jupiter (Aeneid)?

ZEUS:gentlecompassionatemore human figure
JUPITER:impartialharshcolder characterisation
BOTHpowerful - epithets 'the cloud gatherer' (Zeus), 'the All-powerful Father, the highest power in all the universe' (Jupiter)^could argue Jupiter is more powerful due the physical manifestations of his power: 'the gods fell silent, the earth trembled to its foundations and the heights of heaven were hushed', 'the winds in that moment were stilled and the sea kept its waves at peace' and 'his nod shook the whole of Olympus' authoritative - Zeus' compassion (ie his respect and admiration for Hektor and the Trojans + his compassion for Priam in Book 24) as opposed to Jupiter's objectivity means Jupiter appears more effective as the king of the gods (Jupiter never once considers changing fate in order to save a mortal - although it is implied he is capable to in Book 1 - yet Zeus does contemplate this for Sarpedon, his son, in Book 16)lack of authority over their wives - Zeus has little control over Hera, and is tricked by her in Book 14, as well as constantly disobeyed by him throughout, similarly with Jupiter and Juno BUT Jupiter suppresses her opposition in a far more authoritative way (Book 12)
CONCLUSION:Despite both Zeus and Jupiter being highly respectable and powerful kings of the gods, Jupiter is arguably the more effective of the two in that role due to his lack of emotional investment in mortals and his dedication to ensuring fate runs its course, as opposed to Zeus' emotions interfering with his authority.
