Are they addressed by their names or pro-nouns?4- What are the major contrasts- is the characters and the scenery, the clothing, background etc5- What descriptions jump out at you and how do you react?6- What information is left out that leaves us thinking?Remember how does the language effect us, not what techniques are used.
