What is conformity? Identify two factors that might affect conformity.

Conformity is a change in behaviour due to the presence of others: the individual starts to exhibit the same behaviour or opinions as others. It is more likely to occur with a bigger percentage of a group exhibiting a behaviour, and the presence of one or more counter-opinions or behaviours in given group lowers the likelihood of it. Additionally, individual factors, such as confidence can influence conformity.
