Capture mosquitoes by taking a sample from the area of interest for a set period of time, mark the collected insects with a non damaging mark and release then.Then allow time for the marked mosquitoes to disperse before re-sampling.Count how many mosquitoes in the recapture already have been marked.N (pop)= (number marked * number in second sample)/number of marked recaptured
