How do you form the conditional tense?

To form the conditional tense in German, you need two parts: the auxiliary verb werden in the conditional and the infinitive. For example "Wenn ich Geld hätte, würde ich einkaufen gehen".Note: don't get confused between "wurde" and "würde", the first is in the imperfect tense and the second in the conditional!
