What factor was more important to the failure of the League of Nations: the economic depression of the 1930s or the Abyssinia Crisis?

Factors arguing for the depression: UNdermined spirit of goodwill and cooperation that the Leagure depended on. For example, the collapse of world trade intensified the need for economic resources (evident in Japan0's invasion of Manchuria). There is aso the strong arguemnt to suggest that the depression supported Hitler in his rise to power. Eventually, he undermined the League's work towards disarmament and by creating fresh border disputes. Factors arguing for the Abyssinian crisis' influence: Can be seen as the final nail in the coffin for the League. Its reputation was already at stake due to its failure in Manchuria. Britain and France actively conspired with the Italy, and thereby undermining the League, through thr Hore-Laval Pact to divide Abyssinia.
