Why do you think you'd be the perfect candidate for our course?

When it comes to writing personal statements for design courses, they want to see that you are passionate in the subject by being able to demonstrate practical and theoretical knowledge in the form of writing. Many students often insert cheesy quotes by famous designers in their paragraphs, however without being able to show the admission tutors that you know how to put them into practice, it is not likely that they will be interested in reading further. They would love to hear your personal experience within the design world, whether that is a recent design exhibition or personal project which you have been or currently working on. Your input is what makes a personal statement unique.
