The style of writing and essays can definitely be ambiguous! However, there are some crucial things you need to be doing when writing an essay especially for A level History.Make an argument and keep to it - even if you don't agree personally, make sure you are making a final judgement Relevant evidence - you need to make sure that your evidence for your argument relates to what you are arguingStructure - you need to structure your essay into paragraphs Focus on the question - keep focused and don't waffleConclusion - you must have a conclusion even if it is just two lines. Just write one!There are many more aspects to writing a good essay. However, these are the key essentials that need to be fulfilled to write a History essay at A level.
