When answering my essay question, what could be the key evaluative points when talking about fiscal policy?

So the key points in evaluative parts of essays need to answer the "What if" question or the "This depends upon" phrase. For example if your point is "an increase in government spending would increase GDP growth by increasing aggregate demand in the economy", then in your evaluation you need to think about the different scenarios such as "what if interest rates are high" (so this would mean the level of consumption and investment would drop due to the higher cost of borrowing, leading AD to decrease and therefore there would be a decrease in GDP growth). For the "depends upon" part you could think about points like "but this depends upon where this money is coming from, if it is coming from a large increase in taxes this could cancel out the effect".When writing the evaluation part of your essay you should always be sure to expand LOTS so the examiner will never be asking "but why" next to your answers. Note it is also a key concept to focus on few, precise evaluation points then mention lots and not explain them properly. Starting off your evaluation with words such as "However", "But this depends upon" and "The limitations are" would show clearly that you are starting your evaluation and would therefore improve the structure of your essay.
