Explain the causes of one tectonic hazard.

This type of question would usually be worth 6-8 marks, so students should include around 3-4 developed points. For example, if they were explaining how earthquakes occur they could reference the different types of plate boundary (they could include a labelled diagram to demonstrate this more clearly). They could also refer to a build up of pressure at the boundary and the release of seismic energy which causes ground shaking.
