How do I structure an essay in an exam?

Basic Structure:

1. Intro: Keep this short. Briefly place the question in context, lay out your structure, explain your main argument.

2. Main body: You can base it around themes e.g. political, economic, social aspects of the question

or around a for/against structure

3. Conclusion: Relate this back to your introduction. Ensure you have answered the question and followed through with your main argument the whole way through which you summarise here.
