Can non-scientific hobbies add to a person’s ability to be a good student, and why? Can you think of any examples in your own case?

This is a very broad question asked often towards the end of an Oxbridge interview to try and understand if the student is suitable for a degree which will be academically very intense. The interviewer will expect to hear some hobbies that will help the student relax in times of stress during term, especially during Easter term. Although some candidates are given offers regardless of their non-academic interests, the interviewers will feel more inclined to give offers to students they believe will cope in the oxbridge environment for sure.
