How do I analyse language to a deeper extent?

Write a lot about a little. It is better to focus on one small specific part of the text and put it into a wider context. For example, focusing on one specific word or sentence and using that as a starting point to compare other parts of the text is better than using them all at once and creating a shallow essay. Different views of the chosen word or sentence compared to different themes or parts of the text itself is much better than only using it once.
