What is the key to doing well in longer answers?

The key to GCSE History exam long questions is key factual detail. It is imperative that you know precise factual detail to back up every point. This means dates, facts and relevant key factual information to validate your answers. Without this the examiner is not able to effectively see how much you actually know.
