One quarter of a 15cm radius cake has been left over from a birthday party. What is the perimeter of the remaining piece?

Draw a diagram first. The circumference of the whole circle is 94.247. By quartering this and adding the other two sides of the shape (both measuring 15 cm), we can find the perimeter.15+15+ 0.25(2 x pi x 15) = 53.56cm
