Outline the process of the light independent reaction in photosynthesis, also known as the Calvin cycle.

Light INDEPENDENT reaction:·       RuBP combines with CO2, using Rubisco which is an enzyme that catalyses the reaction·       This forms 2x GP molecules·       Each GP is reduced to form TP, using reduced NADP which provides its H+ and ATP provides energy by forming ADP + Pi for the formation of TP. ·       5/6 of the molecule is regenerated to RuBP·      1/6 of the molecule is converted to make organic molecules such as glucose
