Maltose is hydrolysed by the enzyme maltase. Explain why maltase catalyses only this reaction (3 marks)

The question is three marks, so should have three points.1) Active site of the enzyme has a specific shape/ tertiary structure/ complementary to maltose2) Only maltose can bind/ fit3) Forms an enzyme-substrate complex
