What is the best way to answer a question in an interview?

Remember to alway take a couple of seconds to first thing about your points and then your structure, before delivering your answer. Always have a maximum of 2-3 points that you can elaborate on and give example to back up your answer and then to make sure you relate it back to medicine in the end. You'll be basically using the Point, Evidence, Explanation framework and this makes sure that your answers are not too long and boring. Also, it proves to the interviewers your ability to communicate clearly and to think through a question instead of answering too quickly.

A fourteen year old patient tells to you that they are sexually active and that their parents don't know. As a doctor, what things would have to be considered here?

How do you answer a question about your weaknesses in an interview without jeopardising your chances of success?

I'm interested in studying medicine at university. I hear that the "Why do you wish to study medicine/become a doctor" question is asked a lot at interviews. How do I go about answering it on the spot?

Ethical scenario (medical school interview question): You're a junior doctor working in A&E and are triaging a patient with a head injury. He doesn't want to see you as you're "not white", so can't be a "proper doctor". Discuss the issues raised.
