Below is a diagram of a sperm cell. Describe how the long tail and mitochondria aid in the sperms function (2 marks)

1- The long tail helps the sperm to swim towards the egg. Also makes the sperm more streamlined to get to the egg quicker. 2- The mitochondria release energy which enable the sperm to swim towards the egg.
