Describe the stages of mitosis.

  1. ProphaseFirst, the chromosomes condense down which consists of sister chromatids.2. MetaphaseThen, each chromosome lines itself up at the equator of the cell in their homologous pairs.3. AnaphaseIn this stage, the chromosomes are pulled apart by spindle fibres to opposite poles.4. TelophaseNucleus begins to reform around each set of chromosomes and cytoplasm starts to split, forming a cleavage in the cell.
