What's the subjunctive?

The subjunctive is not a tense, but a mood. It's used to express doubt, opinions, emotions, preferences, needs, orders and possibilities. It can also has a range of trigger phrases that come in the form of conjunctions, for example: de manière que, de façon que, bien que, pour que, pour que. Eg- bien que je sois encore jeune, j'ai des grandes rêves.
