An advantage of having and maintaining ethical objectives is that the firm is able to use these objectives for marketing purposes and thus gain access to a specific market segment that is much more niche. In doing this, the firm has access to wider market and can therefore gain market share which increases revenues and profits. Furthermore, ethical objectives could become the firm's unique selling point which could help to set them apart from other businesses within the market. In especially dense markets or markets that consist of a few market leaders this could help to give the brand a competitive advantage and thus be much more profitable.
