How can I improve my vocabulary for my test on household rooms?

For example, a bedroom, you can annotate a picture of one with french words associated with each piece of furniture. Using a visual aid could help improve your memory. Then, in your own room, you can put up sticky notes on piece of furniture with the french words on them. During a session, I would help a student make vocabulary lists translating each word from french to english and then making them repeat the words in french. At the end of the session, I would do a mini quiz to help solidify your knowledge. E.g. "What is a carpet in french?" "Tapis". Furthermore, constructing sentences using the vocabulary they have learnt can help improve their oral. E.g. "Translate: My bedroom has two desks." "Ma chambre a deux bureaux."Using both visual and hearing aids can significantly improve longterm memory. However, if a student is more of a visual learner, i would use images to help them.
