I have a lot of extra-curricular activities to include in my personal statement but am unsure of how to use the experiences effectively in my statement.

It is always important to ask yourself, what did I learn? If you are writing your personal statement and find yourself just listing work experience, extra-curricular activities or character traits you may need to backtrack and make a list of what each experience taught you and why this would make you a good doctor. It is important you keep your statement focused and direct, and avoid long lists of everything you have done.
