How would you define the differences between type 1 and type 2 diabetes?

In type 1 diabetes, there is an impairment in making insulin. Diagnosis usually occurs among young people. In type 2 diabetes there’s an impairment in cells responding to insulin. Diagnosis usually occurs in older people.
