Suggest 3 ways in which starch’s structure is related to its function.

Starch is insoluble and therefore doesn’t affect the water potential. Starch forms a compact helical structure and therefore large amounts can be stored in a small space.Starch is a large molecule and therefore cannot leave the cell.
