Was Britain's policy of appeasement the primary cause of World War II?

This answer should be in essay format, with an introduction and conclusion. The main body of the essay should discuss your answer to the question by examining other causes of the war alongside the policy of appeasement. The introduction should have your line of argument, i.e. your answer to the question (this should only be a sentence in your introduction, as the rest of the essay will begin to explore why this is your line of argument). Other causes of World War II include: The Treaty of Versailles, Hitler and the Nazi party, Italian Fascism, Japanese invasion of Manchuria. Additionally, Chamberlain's policy of appeasement must also be discussed.
