What role does Lady Macbeth play in her husband's actions? Is she always involved in Macbeth's decision making?

It could be argued that Lady Macbeth is the force and influencer behind Macbeths decision to kill Duncan. She is somewhat the puppeteer and he a mere puppet. Shakespeare alludes to this notion when he states "It is, of course, Lady Macbeth herself who spawns the plot to kill Duncan, who determines the setting and the specific actions through which this bloody deed will take place."  Shakespeare depicts her fierce determination for her husband to gain the throne as a force that transcends all sense of morality. This is shown when she tells him off and says he must understand what the opportunity means to both of them and cannot complain about what he must do.From this, one can deduce that without her forceful personality, Macbeth may have listened to his conscience and not killed the kung.
