What is a demonstrative adjective?

A demonstrative adjective is a word used to point out a specific thing or to emphasise something. It can be translated as 'this' or 'that' or 'those'.
The demonstrative adjectives in French are:Ce - before a masculine noun Cette - before a feminine noun Cet - before a masculine noun that begins with an H or a vowel Ces - before plural nouns. For example: J'aime cette jupe - I like this skirt/ As-tu vu ces voitures? - Did you see those cars?
