How do I conjugate regular verbs in the imperfect tense?

When conjugating regular verbs in the imperfect tense, use this rule:Take the 'nous' form of the word, e.g. for avoir, take: nous avons Remove the 'nous' and the 'ons' from the end of the verb, so that you are left with: av. This is called the stem of the word. Now choose your subject pronoun (the person who you're talking about) and add the appropriate ending to the end of the stem:Je: aisTu: aisIl/Elle/On: aitNous: ions Vous: iezIls/Elles: aiente.g."Nous avions"
