How does Virgil make this passage exciting for his reader?

This question is for the verse literature paper in A-Level (or GCSE) Latin. Students will have translated and analysed a text about which they will be asked literary questions of varying length. This question would typically be worth 6 marks. Ask student how many points they think they need to make for a 6 mark question (3).Which section of the text is this from, why do you think this passage has been chosen for comment - what is your overarching argument going to be?Ask the student to pick out some points of literary interest that contribute to this wider theme. Take them though formulating a point (PEE) and good exam technique (quoting, translation, literary terms).Help them formulate an answer that would gain them 6 marks, then hypothesize about it being an 8 mark question - what other points could they make?Have them do another similar question on their own to solidify the approach.
