Outline the breakdown of relationships.

Duck's Phase Model claims that breakdown happens in four stages. The first stage is Intrapsychic whereby an individual realises there is a problem within the relationship. The second is Dyadic whereby the individual confronts their partner. The third is Social whereby the individual discusses the relationship with their friends. The last stage is Grave Dressing whereby the couple breaks up and each tell their own version of events in order to leave the relationship with low levels of blame.
