If i'm planning an essay for a question on regeneration in a specific area, how would I organise my paragraphs?

This is a case study focused question, you therefore need to include specific factual infomation about that case within every paragraph.Generally for long answered questions, you can divide your paragaphs into political, economic, social and environmental. In order to get the highest marks, you need to be synoptic between each point you're making. For example, if you are talking about the economic impacts of regeneration, you might say that it has positively provided new secondary sector jobs in the short term due to construction and more oppertunities for tiertiary sector jobs in the long term if the regeneration includes retail outlets. However, jobs in retail tend to be relatively low skilled and focus on the younger demographic.Socially, this may change the demographic composition of the area as young people relocate to find jobs. Since the regeneration fails to include an increase in affordable/suitable/well-located housing, the project may lack long sustainability. An essay needs to flow and this is helped by connecting points together and showing that each paragraph can be considered from a variety of perspectives.
