Write a letter to your local council, advocating for more funding for the community youth centre.

There are a variety of English Language skills that need to be employed to write this letter. The pupil needs to keep in mind the register and tone of the letter; while being formal, it needs to be persuasive. they will also need to focus on the actual content of the letter, using strong arguments, and dismissing counter arguments to validate their own point. Their letter would need to be structured properly to suppprt their argument as well.
