How should i structure my paragraph when analysing texts

It is useful to follow the PEA paragraph structure when analysing writing. This stands for POINT, EVIDENCE, ANALYSIS. So, you would first clearly state the point you wish to make, quote the writer to give an example of where this occurs and finally, show and explain how this quotation has the effect you are claiming.
