This is an interesting way to get students thinking about what narrative techniques a writer can use to keep the reader interested. This might be a nice question to explore a students understanding of narrative techniques such as cliffhangers, or flashbacks. Again, this is a great way of assessing a student's analytical skills and whether they fully understand the terminology.
