Who was the most important individual in the Civil Rights Movement?

There is no simple answer to this question, and everyone has there own opinion. Although, in the modern day, Martin Luther King is considered the most influential and important African American leader ever, this has not always been the case. Figures such as Malcolm X, W.E.B DuBois, Booker T. Washington, Harry Truman, JFK etc. were also involved and therefore need to be considered before coming to your final conclusion.
