Hey tutors\ud83d\udc4b <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Clocks have gone forward, Spring has sprung, and the sun has finally started to make more of an appearance – delightful. March saw us throw a Pi Day giveaway on our Instagram page<\/a> where one of you won a pie-shaped prize, announce our big referral competition winners, and launch a brand new type of Schools Programme to help you make more cash during the holidays. Read on to find out more \ud83d\udc47<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Easter School Programmes \ud83d\udc30<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Easter you\u2019ll notice more school slots on your opportunities page than normal… We\u2019re trialling intensive Easter school programmes for 2 weeks (4th – 18th of April) where pupils will have 1-2 lessons every day over the Easter break for either 1 or 2 weeks.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a great way to make some extra money during a usually quiet time all whilst supporting pupils ahead of their exams<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We regularly get our tutors in the press to show the UK the people who\u2019ll be teaching their students and kids – and to reassure teachers that their pupils will be connecting with people who\u2019ve been in their shoes not so long ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This April, we’re looking for a tutor to work with us on a ‘day in the life\u2019 written piece to share with some publications in the education industry (like Schools Week). If you’re a current uni student who has interesting hobbies or takes part in different extracurricular activities as part of your day, express your interest here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An update on our app \ud83d\udc40<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Those of you who use the app might’ve noticed the times are no longer accurate thanks to the clocks changing. The bad news is we’re not able to make any changes to the app whilst we work on releasing a shiny new one – but the good news is we’re well on our way to making it more slick, useful, and accurate! In the meantime, please be mindful of your tutorial times and double check on your Bookings <\/a>page on the website if you’re unsure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tutoring and holiday periods<\/strong>\ud83c\udf24\ufe0f<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As the Easter break is fast approaching, we understand you may have other commitments. Where you can, please try and make sure you\u2019ll still be able to support your students during their build up to exams. Still, we understand it\u2019s exam season for you too, so if you know you won\u2019t be able to commit to tutoring, just make sure to cancel or reschedule your lessons <\/a>in good time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
