It\u2019s early days but here\u2019s what we know so far\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re seeing the same number of lessons booked overall, but around 20% of all first lessons booked are declined by tutors. To make sure you get lessons you <em>can<\/em> accept:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Refresh your availability (&amp; hide your profile if you\u2019re not looking for work)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make sure your subjects are up-to-date<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Turn on email &amp; app notifications so you don\u2019t miss a beat!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We launched this test based on your feedback that free meetings can be unreliable, so we\u2019d love to know what you think about the test so far <a href=\"https:\/\/mtw.typeform.com\/to\/fyXhlWhq\">here<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Check out our new safeguarding tool (so you\u2019re ready if you need it)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hopefully, you\u2019ll never witness a concern to report. But if you do, reporting it quickly is extremely important. We\u2019ve set up a new safeguarding platform so we can all log concerns safely &amp; securely. We recommend you get set up and familiar with it now. So this year we\u2019ve set up a process that allows pupils to share their results safely with you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If pupils want to share their results with you, their school will let us know. Then we&#8217;ll send you an email with their name, the subject you taught them, and all importantly the grade they received. It\u2019s simple, secure and safe.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>And last but not least, 2 (much requested) new lesson space features!<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><em>Pupil is typing\u2026 <\/em>From now on, you\u2019ll be able to see when your pupils are crafting a response in the chat.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plus, the default pen colour is now black \ud83d\udc4f\ud83c\udffb (goodbye angry red pen).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>And finally, thanks again for your hard work this academic year.
