MyTutor is a finalist for ‘Innovator of the Year’ in the 2018 Bett Awards

We are delighted to announce that MyTutor is a finalist for the 2018 Bett Awards. The awards celebrate innovation in technology, and recognise organisations which which provide particularly creative and useful solutions to problems facing modern educators.

We have been nominated amongst stiff competition from a range of organisations in the category of ‘Innovator of the Year’, where we were judged based on the innovation we have shown over the past 12 months, including:

  • Our online model, which enables schools to access high-quality tutors regardless of their location

  • Our tutor-student matching algorithm, which matches pupils with tutors who are best suited to their learning needs

  • The access programmes which we have collaborated with universities including the University of Birmingham and the University of Leeds to run. These ground-breaking programmes provide tutoring for disadvantaged pupils, helping them to reach the A Level grades necessary to go to great universities

The final results will be announced on the 24th January 2018.
