- Helped a total of 52 A-level students to secure a University offer, during my 4 years working as an e-mentor

- Graduated from the University of Nottingham after completing a year abroad in France and specialising in Cold War History

- Worked for 2 years at leading Universities on projects ranging from admissions to creating new degree programmes

- Successfully applied to study for an MSc at the University of Oxford beginning in September 2018

I'm really excited to meet you and hear about what your plan is for after A-levels. With my experience in writing, guiding and reading personal statements I hope to help you perfect that often daunting part of the university application process.

Alongside this I would love to help you refine your essays, be that History, French or English. I have specialisms in a number of historical periods and received a distinction in my degree for Spoken French.

À bientôt, j'espère!

About my sessions

During my year abroad I taught English in three French schools, planning my own lessons and monitoring student progress throughout the year. I like to use sessions as an opportunity to be creative and believe every learner retains and more importantly, processes information through different methods. I also stress the importance of building a working relationship with students, or mentees in your case!.

Spider diagrams, essay plans, memory games or simply talking through your personal statement or history revision could be the key to really understanding your topic. We will work together to discover what method suits you, your goals and not forgetting your time restraints. For this reason, the first time we meet will be a 'getting to know you' session, I want to ensure that every activity is impactful, relevant and helping you to achieve that offer or that A*.

I intend to use my own academic experience alongside the practical knowledge I have gained over 2 years of working for Russell Group institutions to provide the best and most personalised guidance for my mentees.
