I am a third year English literature student at the university of St Andrews; I particularly enjoy writing and reading, which has helped developed my strong spelling, grammar, structure and critical analysis skills. These skills are particularly useful for written reviews as I can go over any assignments and check the coherence of tone, tense, sentence structure and general English.

I aim to cater for the individual needs of each student; prior to the session I will research the given topic that the student needs help with, to provide adequate context as well as the exam/necessary techniques.
I hope to help my students achieve their goals, by establishing what they want to improve and breakdown how to get there in a series of smaller steps to make the prospect less daunting.

We only take tutor applications from candidates who are studying at the UK’s leading universities. Candidates who fulfil our grade criteria then pass to the interview stage, where a member of the MyTutor team will personally assess them for subject knowledge, communication skills and general tutoring approach. About 1 in 7 becomes a tutor on our site.
