About me

Hiya! I am currently a second year medical student at Newcastle, I studied Maths, Biology and chemistry at A level achieving A,A*,A. I also came in the top 8% in the country at the UKCAT which is the aptitude test required for the majority of universities. I am a very keen and knowledgeable scientist and I have learnt the skills to turn what you know into getting good marks in exams. I also have dyslexia which means that I have learnt a great variety of techniques to help me tackle challenging aspects of exam technique. I look forward to helping you out.

About my sessions

I would find out what the student wanted to achieve or work on in the session. i would therefore prepare relevant exercises and questions to achieve this. Then at the end of the session I would have a test to ensure that the relevant goals have been achieved. I think making the learning interesting and relevant is key so the student is keen to continue learning on their own.

explain what an enantiomer is

an enantiomer is two molecules that are mirror images of each other, the best way to visualise it is to draw the molecule in a tetrahedral shape around the central carbon atom, then draw a line down the page and draw its' mirror image.an enantiomer is two molecules that are mirror images of each other, the best way to visualise it is to draw the molecule in a tetrahedral shape around the central carbon atom, then draw a line down the page and draw its' mirror image.
